First introduced in 1991, the Beech 1900D was last produced in 2002. The first 1900 (without the D) was introduced in 1984. The aircraft were manufactured by Beech Aircraft Corporation, a company founded in 1932 and headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. They are now a brand of Textron Aviation.
The Beech 1900D has a capacity for 19 passengers and can fly 707 kilometres. The airplane is 18 metres or 58 feet in length with a wingspan of 18 metres or 58 feet. At the tail, the 1900D stands five metres or 16 feet in height.
