Emirates Airlines

Emirates was founded and commenced operations in 1985 and is headquartered in Garhoud, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The main hub for the airline is Dubai International Airport (DXB). The airline is part of the Emirates Group and is owned by the Government of Dubai.

The fleet of 259 (as of February 24, 2020) consists of the Airbus A380-800 and three variations of the Boeing 777 (200LR, 300, 300ER). There are 115 A380’s in the fleet and Emirates is the world’s largest operator, by far, of this type of aircraft. They are also the world’s largest operator of the Boeing 777-300ER.
