C-FKAU is a Boeing 777-300ER that was less than a year and half old when we photographed the aircraft while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) on July 20, 2017. We used this aircraft as an example of the amazing multi-tasking abilities a simple hot shoe adapter can provide your photography. See that article here: hot shoe adapter.

C-FKAU

C-FKAU is one of 19 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in the Air Canada fleet. The B773 took its first flight on May 1, 2016 and was delivered to Air Canada on May 21, 2016. The airliner is configured for a maximum total of 400 passengers with 40 seats in business class, 24 more in premium economy and 336 seats in economy class.

Boeing 777-300ER

The original variant of the Boeing 777 was introduced in 1995 with United Airlines. The Boeing 777-300ER first entered service in 2004 with Air France. The ER stands for extended range and the 777ER can fly 13,650 kilometres, 2,500 KM more than the base -300 model.

The aircraft is 74 metres or 242 feet in length with a wingspan of 65 metres or 213 feet. At the tail, the B773 stands 19 metres or 61 feet in height. These numbers make the 777-300ER ten feet longer with a wingspan two feet wider than the Boeing 747-400. The 777 is around a foot taller at the tail than the B744.
