Swift Air was founded in 1997 and the airline is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The main hub for Swift is the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). The airline flies private charter flights, primarily for professional sports teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL) and Major League Baseball (MLB).
The airline has a fleet of 13 aircraft (one is for cargo). There are three Boeing 737-300 models and ten Boeing 737-400 airliners, all from the Boeing 737 Classic Family.
