B-2099

B-2099 took its first flight on January 16, 2014 and was delivered to China Southern Airlines on February 25, 2014. The Boeing 777-31BER is one of ten B773 aircraft currently in the China Southern fleet. The airliner is configured for a maximum total of 309 passengers with four seats in first class, 34 in business class, 44 in premium economy and 227 in economy class.

Boeing 777-300ER

The first Boeing 777-300ER was introduced with Air France in 2004, nearly a decade after the original variant of the 777 entered service with United Airlines in 1995. The ER is for extended range and the 300ER can fly nearly 2,500 kilometres further than the base -300 with a flight range of 13,650 KM.

The B773 is 74 metres or 242 feet in length with a wingspan of 65 metres or 213 feet. At the tail, the airplane stands 19 metres or 61 feet in height. This means that the Boeing 777-300ER is ten feet longer than the iconic Boeing 747-400 with a wingspan that is two feet wider that the B744.
