B-LXF

B-LXF performed its first flight on October 25, 2018. The Airbus A350-1041 was delivered to Cathay Pacific on November 21, 2018. This is one of 12 A35X aircraft currently in the fleet with six more on order.

This airliner is configured for a maximum total of 334 passengers. There are 46 seats in business class, 32 more in premium economy and 256 economy class seats.

Airbus A350-1000

The first Airbus A350-1000 was delivered to launch customer Qatar Airways on February 20, 2018. The first commercial flight took place four days later on February 24, 2018.

The A35X is 73.79 metres or 242 feet in length. This puts it about 23 feet longer than the Airbus A350-900. It also makes it over three feet longer than the Airbus A380-800.

The wingspan is 64.75 metres or 212 feet, a dimension shared with the A359. At the tail, the aircraft statnds 17.08 metres or 56 feet in height. This airliner has a maximum flight range of 16,100 kilometres, about 1,100 KM more than the Airbus A350-900.

Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific was founded on September 24, 1946 and is headquartered at Cathay City on the grounds of Hong Kong International Airport in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong. The airline has a main fleet of over 130 aircraft flying to nearly 80 destinations around the world.

The largest in the fleet is the Boeing 777-300ER. However, they do have 21 Boeing 777-9 models on order. Cathay Pacific is a founding member of the Oneworld Alliance. Other founding members include American Airlines, British Airways, Qantas and the now defunct Canadian Airlines. The alliance was founded in February, 1999 and now has 13 full members worldwide.
