Update May 30, 2018

We’ve added a second image gallery showing C-FNOE painted in the latest Air Canada livery.

One of 19 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft currently in the Air Canada fleet, C-FNOE is approaching its two year anniversary with the airline. Shortly after the pictures in the image gallery below were taken at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), C-FNOE had a bit of scary incident with the cockpit oxygen system. See below for more on that.

C-FNOE

C-FNOE took its first flight on July 7, 2015 and was delivered to Air Canada on July 31, 2015. This is currently one of 19 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners in the AC fleet with ten more on order through 2019. The aircraft is configured for a maximum total of 298 passengers with 30 business class seats, 21 more in premium economy and 247 in economy class.

On August 8, 2016, not long after the above images were taken (June 17, 2016), C-FNOE experienced some difficulty on a flight from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Tel Aviv, Israel. At 37,000 feet, around Plymouth, England, the crew experienced problems with the oxygen system (CREW OXYGEN LOW indication). The airplane was diverted to London Heathrow. The fault was fixed and the airplane was able to continue on to Tel Aviv with a delay of 4.5 hours.

A 1/200 scale detailed Sky Marks model is available for this exact aircraft. This is a large 12.5″ long model that comes with a unique display stand. Check it out here to buy or for more information: Boeing 787-9 Air Canada 1/200 Scale Model by Sky Marks
