C-GEZJ is a pleasant sight with the nose painted in a smiling face, part of an overall ‘Kids Club’ livery. The Airbus A321-200 is a relative newcomer to the Air Transat fleet, joining in April, 2018. We photographed this A321 on December 15, 2018 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

C-GEZJ
C-GEZJ performed its first flight on December 15, 2009. The Airbus A321-211 was delivered to Aeroflot in Russia on December 23, 2009 as VQ-BEI. During its time with Aeroflot, the aircraft was named Sergey Korolev.
After finishing up in Russia in February, 2018, the Airbus A321-200 was delivered to Air Transat on April 23, 2018. The airliner is configured for a maximum total of 190 passengers. There are eight seats in ‘Club Class’ and 182 economy class seats. Club Class are regular seats but only two of the three seats in the row are used.
This is one of ten Airbus A321-200 models currently in the Air Transat fleet. With the phase-out of their classic Airbus A310-300 airplanes coming soon, the airline is going strong with the A321, A321LR and A321neo. This aircraft has a special ‘Kids Club’ livery.
