C-GTQY is definitely a communal aircraft. This Boeing 737-800 has been bounced around seasonally from airline to airline since it first flew in 2007. We photographed this B738 with Air Transat on Feburary 17, 2018 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). The aircraft is back with Air Transat for the 2018-19 winter season but is now registered OK-TVY.

C-GTQY
C-GTQY performed its first flight on May 31, 2007. The Boeing 737-8Q8 was delivered to XL Airways Germany on June 9, 2007 as D-AXLE. The B738 first flew for Air Transat in December 11, 2014 and has returned for the winter months each year since, leased from SmartWings (don’t miss the winglets).
Through the years, the airplane has flown for XL Airways France, Gulf Air, CanJet Airlines and Sunwing. Like Air Transat, both CanJet and Sunwing are Canadian charter airlines taking passengers mostly to sunshine vacations in the Caribbean and Mexico. CanJet has since ceased to exist.
This aircraft last flew for Air Transat in 2020 and has been with Smartwings since. The jet is configured for a maximum total of 189 passengers in a single class system.
