One of eleven Boeing 777F freighters in the AeroLogic fleet, D-AALG has been in the skies since 2010. We photographed this Boeing 777-FZN on March 9, 2019 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

D-AALG

D-AALG performed its maiden flight on September 15, 2010. The Boeing 777-FZN was delivered to AeroLogic on September 24, 2010. As mentioned, this is one of eleven Boeing 777F aircraft in the AeroLogic fleet, with ownership shared between Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express.

Boeing 777F

The first Boeing 777F was delivered to Air France on February 19, 2009. The freighter shares dimensions with the Boeing 777-200LR passenger plane. As of December, 2017, 138 of this variant had been delivered among 16 different customers with another 30 airplanes on order.

The Boeing 777F is 64 metres or 209 feet in length with a wingspan of 65 metres or 213 feet. At the tail, the aircraft stands 19 metres or 61 feet in height. The flight range is 9,200 kilometres.

AeroLogic

AeroLogic was founded in 2007 and commenced operations in 2009. Headquartered in Schkeuditz, Germany, the cargo airline has a fleet of 13 Boeing 777F freighters that fly to 22 regular destinations around the world. AeroLogic is a joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo with each company holding 50% ownership.
