EI-GFX
EI-GFX performed its maiden flight on March 2, 2004. The Airbus A330-202 was delivered to Qatar Airways on April 5, 2004 as A7-ACE. The A332 was then delivered to Air Italy on may 4, 2018.
This airliner is configured for a maximum total of 252 passengers. There are 24 seats in business class and 228 economy class seats. This is one of five Airbus A330-200 models currently in the fleet with more coming over from Qatar Airways in the near future. This is the largest airplane in the fleet.

Airbus A330-200
The Airbus A330-200 followed the Airbus A330-300 and is a shortened version of that variant. The first A332 entered service with Korean Air in 1998. The aircraft is 59 metres or 193 feet in length, 16 feet shorter than the A333. The wingspan is 60 metres or 198 feet and the airline stands 17 metres or 57 feet in height at the tail. The flight range is 13,450 kilometres, over 1,500 KM more than the Airbus A330-300.
Air Italy
This airline ceased operations on February 11, 2020. Air Italy, in its most recent form, was founded on February 19, 2018 with the merger between Meridiana and the original Air Italy, along with heavy investment from Qatar Airways. The new airline commenced operations on March 1, 2018.
Meridiana was founded as Alisarda in 1963 and relaunched as Meridiana in 1991. The old Air Italy was founded in 2005 and originally merged into its rival in 2011.
Air Italy is headquartered in Olbia, Sassari, Italy. The Italian airline’s main hub is Milan Malpensa Airport. It is owned by AQA Holding, which is 51% Alisarda and 49% Qatar Airways.
At the time of its demise, the airline currently had a fleet of 13 airliners travelling to 26 destinations. The fleet consisted of Airbus A330-200, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 models.
