F-GSPP

F-GSPP performed its first flight on February 20, 2001. The Boeing 777-228ER was delivered to Air France on February 28, 2001. This aircraft is configured for a maximum total of 312 passengers. There are 28 seats in business class, 24 more in premium economy and 260 economy class seats.

On November 16, 2011, the Boeing 777-200ER was flying from Caracas, Venezuela to Paris, France. On final approach, crew received a master caution warning. There was a bit of a battle between the crew and autopilot. In the end, after some nervous moments, the airplane was able to go around and land safely on the second attempt.

On January 3, 2017, F-GSPP was on the ground at Toronto Pearson International Airport, preparing for a return flight to Paris. A Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 777-200LR inadvertently came in contact with the Air France airplane. Minor damage was done to the right hand wing tip.

While performing a flight from Paris to Panama City, Panama on September 18, 2018, a burning smell was detected in the cabin. It was decided to divert back to Paris for a safe landing. A replacement, F-GSPN, was brought in to carry out the flight.
