It’s been a learning process explaining to my seven year old that when he sees online that a SkyWest Airlines airplane is heading our way, it’s actually Delta Connection, United Express or American Eagle. So, when N741EV showed up painted fully in a SkyWest livery, it was a bit confusing.
We photographed this Bombardier CRJ-700 on August 25, 2019 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). It was flying on behalf of American Eagle.

On February 28, 2009, N741EV was flying for Atlantic Southeast Airlines on behalf of Delta Connection. The flight was a short haul from Altanta, Georgia to Savannah, Georgia. While landing at Hilton Head Airport, the CRJ-700 overran the runway and got stuck in the soft ground just beyond the pavement. There were no injuries and the aircraft sustained no damage. However, the return flight to Atlanta was cancelled.
