We just did a video that outlined the exterior differences between the Airbus A320 Family and the Boeing 737 NG Family (you can view it here: Airbus A320 vs. Boeing 737). We made sure to note that not everything is absolute and N90024 is an example. The identifying feature for the A320 Family of the wingtip fence has been replaced on this Airbus A319-100 by winglets more fitting for a Boeing product.

N90024
N90024 took its first flight on December 1, 2014 and was delivered to American Airlines on December 12, 2014. The Airbus A319-100 is configured for a maximum total of 128 passengers with eight seats in first class and 120 more seats in economy class. This is one of 125 A319 aircraft in the AA fleet.
Airbus A319-100
The first Airbus A319-100 took its maiden flight on August 25, 1995. The first was introduced with Swissair in 1996. The shortened version of the initial A320 variant, the A319 is in direct competition with the Boeing 737-700. Nearly 1,500 have been produced.
The A319 is 34 metres or 111 feet in length with a wingspan of 36 metres or 118 feet. At the tail, the airplane stands 12 metres or 39 feet in height. The flight range is 6,950 kilometres, more than its Boeing competitor.
American Airlines
Founded in 1926 as American Airways, the airline commenced operations as American Airlines in 1936. AA has a massive main fleet of 956 aircraft flying to around 350 destinations in more than 50 countries around the world. The largest in the fleet is the Boeing 777-300ER. This is the largest operator of the Airbus A320 Family and specifically the A321. They have the second largest fleet of A319 variants.
Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, American Airlines is a founding member of the Oneworld Alliance. Other founding members include British Airways, Canadian Airlines (defunct), Cathay Pacific and Qantas. Oneworld was founded in 1999, is headquartered in New York City, and has 14 full member airlines.
