TF-PRO is one of eleven A321 aircraft in the WOW fleet with four more on order. The airline makes daily flights between Reykjavik, Iceland and Toronto, Ontario, among other North American destinations.

We photographed TF-PRO with a Canon Rebel T6i DSLR camera at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) while plane spotting on February 24, 2018. TF-PRO

TF-PRO performed its maiden flight on May 4, 2017 and was delivered to WOW air on May 22, 2017. The Airbus A321-211 is one of eleven in the WOW fleet with four more on order. This aircraft is configured for a maximum of 218 passengers in a single class system. The airline configures their A321 airliners in four different ways with this one being the second densest capacity.

Airbus A321-200

23 feet longer than the Airbus A320-200, the Airbus A321-200 is the largest in the Airbus A320 Family of aircraft. The first was introduced in April, 1997 with Monarch Airlines. Since, nearly 1,500 have been delivered to airlines around the world.

The A321-200 is 45 metres or 146 feet in length with a wingspan of 36 metres or 118 feet. At the tail, the airplane stands 12 metres or 39 feet in height. The flight range is 5,950 kilometres. This aircraft is the direct competitor for the Boeing 737-900ER.

WOW air

WOW air was founded in November, 2011 and commenced operations on May 31, 2012. Headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland and based at Keflavik International Airport, WOW is a low cost carrier and an affordable alternative for travel between North America and Europe.

The airline currently has a fleet of 20 aircraft flying to 38 destinations in Europe, Canada and the United States. In Canada, WOW flies to just Toronto and Montreal with those routes starting in 2016. The fleet consists of Airbus A330-300, Airbus A321-200, Airbus A320-200 and Airbus A320neo aircraft. One of the aircraft is operated by Avion Express and there are four Airbus A330-900neo variants on order for deliveries starting in 2018.
