We photographed B-2025 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) on October 7, 2018.

B-2025

B-2025 performed its maiden flight on July 23, 2015 and was delivered to China Eastern Airlines on November 23, 2015. The Boeing 777-39PER is one of 20 in the fleet. The model is the largest in the fleet of the Chinese airline. This B77W is configured for a maximum total of 316 passengers with six seats in first class, 52 more in business class and 258 economy class seats.

 




Boeing 777-300ER

The Boeing 777-300ER was first delivered to launch customer Air France in 2004, nearly a decade after the initial 777 variant was introduced with United Airlines in 1995. The ER is for 'extended range' and this aircraft can fly a lofty 13,650 kilometres between stops.

The B77W is 74 metres or 242 feet in length with a wingspan of 65 metres or 213 feet. At the tail, the airliner is 19 metres or 61 feet in height. Though not the most glamorous of the big airplanes, the Boeing 777-300ER is longer than both the Boeing 747-400 (by 10 feet) and Airbus A380-800 (by 3 feet).


China Eastern Airlines

China Eastern Airlines was founded in June, 1988 and is headquartered within the China Eastern Airlines Building on the grounds of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport in Shanghai, China. the member of the SkyTeam Alliance has a main fleet of nearly 520 aircraft flying to just under 220 destinations around the world.

The airline is China's second largest carrier by passenger numbers. The fleet is led in size by the Boeing 777-300ER. The most numerous in the fleet is the Airbus A320-200.
