C-GUBD

C-GUBD took its first flight on April 28, 2003. The Airbus A330-243 was delivered to Emirates on June 24, 2003 as A6-EAR. The A332 was put in storage in September, 2016 and delivered to Air Transat on May 13, 2017.

This airliner is configured for a maximum total of 332 passengers. There are 12 seats in premium economy and 320 economy class seats. This is one of 16 Airbus A330-200 airplanes in the fleet of this Canadian airline. Some are leased to Condor over the winter months.

On November 2, 2013, flying as A6-EAR for Emirates, this plane had some issues on a flight from Colombo, Sri Lanka to Dubai, UAE. The initial climb was stopped at 27,000 feet after receiving a cargo fire indication. The aircraft was diverted back to Colombo for a safe landing. No trace of fire, heat or smoke was found.
