EI-EJL, an Alitalia Airbus A330-200. The aircraft is named for Piero Della Francesca, an early renaissance painter. Della Francesca was born in 1415 and lived to the ripe old age (definitely for the era) of 77. He died in 1492, the year Columbus first discovered America. Much later, on June 29, 2018, we photographed EI-EJL while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).
