Is F-GSPH on its way out? This is one of Air France’s older Boeing 777-200ER models. The French airline has plans to replace their A340’s and older B772’s with Airbus A350-900 aircraft in the near future. We photographed this airliner on August 1, 2019 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

F-GSPH

F-GSPH performed its maiden flight on April 14, 1999. The Boeing 777-228ER was delivered to Air France on May 21, 1999. This B772 is configured for a maximum total of 280 passengers. There are 40 seats in business class, 24 more in premium economy and 216 economy class seats. This is the least dense of the airline’s three Boeing 777-200ER configurations.

This airplane is the airline’s eighth oldest B772 and one of 25 currently in the fleet. Plans are to replace all the remaining Airbus A340-300 models and the older Boeing 777-200ER models with Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
