HP-1564CMP was delivered to Copa Airlines on August 24, 2007 and is one of 12 Embraer ERJ-190AR models in the fleet. These E190 aircraft are slated to be phased out, replaced by larger Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airliner is configured for a maximum total of 94 passengers with 12 seats in business class and 84 more in economy class.

The E190 is painted up with a ConnectMiles.com livery. This is the frequent flyer program of Copa Airlines. Miles can be accrued from flights with Copa and on select flights with other Star Alliance member airlines. This program was fully implemented on July 1, 2015, replacing the previous MileagePlus program.
