Some aren’t fans of this American Airlines livery sported by N12028 but I think it looks just great in the right light. We photographed this Airbus A319-100 (with winglets) on June 8, 2018 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

N12028 performed its maiden flight on February 2, 2015 and was delivered to American Airlines on February 12, 2015. The Airbus A319-115 is configured for a maximum total of 128 passengers with eight seats in first class and 120 economy class seats. Lost in the crowd, this is one of 125 A319 models in the airline’s main fleet, a fleet that consists of around 950 aircraft.
Airbus A319-100
The maiden flight of the Airbus A319-100 occurred on August 25, 1995 with the aircraft introduced with launch customer Swissair in 1996. The shortened version of the Airbus A320-200, the A319 is 34 metres or 111 feet in length with a wingspan of 36 metres or 118 feet. At the tail, the airplane is 12 metres or 39 feet in height. The flight range is 6,950 kilometres.
American Airlines
The airline was founded in 1926 as American Airways and commenced operations under the American Airlines name in 1936. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, the airline has a main fleet of 950 airplanes flying to 350 destinations in more than 50 countries around the world.
American Airlines has a fleet led in size by the Boeing 777-300ER. They are the largest operator in the world of the Airbus A320 Family and have the world's largest fleet of Airbus A321-200 aircraft.
The airline is a founding member of the Oneworld Alliance. Other founding members include British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Qantas and the now defunct Canadian Airlines. Oneworld was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in New York City.
