C-FONK
C-FONK performed its first flight on October 6, 2015. The Boeing 737-8CT was delivered to parent airline WestJet on October 15, 2015. The B738 was then transferred to ultra low cost brand Swoop on August 2, 2018.
This Boeing 737-800, like the eight others in the Swoop fleet, is configured for a maximum total of 189 passengers, all in a single economy class set-up. The airliner is named #jon.

The most popular variant in the Boeing 737 Next Generation Family, there have been over 4,500 Boeing 737-800 models delivered to airlines around the world. The first B738 entered service in 1998. The aircraft is a direct competitor to the Airbus A320-200.

Swoop
Swoop was founded in 2017. The ultra low cost carrier commenced operations on June 20, 2018. The brand is fully owned by WestJet Airlines. Swoop is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The airline has a fleet of 13 aircraft, with a mix of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 models. They travel over 30 destinations in Canada, Mexico, the United States and the Caribbean. The main hubs for this airline are Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Edmonton International Airport (YEG).
