With 71 more seats than a mainline Air Canada Boeing 767-300ER, C-GHPE and the other 24 B763 aircraft in the Air Canada Rouge fleet are pretty cramped. We photographed this airliner on December 15, 2018 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

C-GHPE
C-GHPE performed its maiden flight on January 8, 2003 and was delivered to Hawaiian Airlines on January 26, 2003 as N591HA. The Boeing 767-33AER was delivered to Air Canada on May 20, 2011 and transferred to low cost subsidiary Rouge on June 1, 2013.
This B763 is configured for a maximum total of 282 passengers with 24 seats in premium economy and 258 economy class seats. This number is in stark comparison to the 211 seats on a mainline Air Canada Boeing 767-300ER. C-GHPE is one of 25 of this kind of airplane in the Rouge fleet.
On October 27, 2016, C-GHPE was flying from Vancouver, British Columbia to Las Vegas, Nevada. On the climb out of YVR, at 27,000 feet, the aircraft encountered severe turbulence. As a result, there was a loss of more than 40 knots in airspeed with autopilot unable to cope with the conditions. Autopilot was disengaged and the crew were able to right the aircraft for a safe journey to their destination.
Boeing 767-300ER
The first Boeing 767-300ER was introduced with launch customer American Airlines in 1988, seven years after the initial 767 variant entered service with United Airlines in 1981. A direct competitor to the Airbus A330-200, 583 were delivered, in all.
The B763 is 55 metres or 180 feet in length with a wingspan of 48 metres or 156 feet. At the tail, the airliner stands 16 metres or 52 feet in height. The flight range is 11,070 kilometres.
Air Canada Rouge
Air Canada Rouge was founded in December, 2012 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Canada. The brand has a fleet of over 60 aircraft flying to 50 destinations. Prior to March, 2020, there were 25 Boeing 767-300ER, 22 Airbus A319-100, four Airbus A320-200 and 14 Airbus A321-200 models.
The airline announced at the start of May, 2020 that all Boeing 767 and Airbus A319 aircraft would be retired, a result of the COVID-19 fallout. This leaves the brand with just 18 airlines, all either Airbus A321-200 or Airbus A320-200. Through the main airline, Rouge is a member of the Star Alliance.
