N14735

N14735 performed its first flight on September 7, 1999. The Boeing 737-724 was first delivered to Continental Airlines on September 22, 1999. After the two U.S. based airlines merged, the B737 joined United on November 30, 2011.

This airliner is configured for a maximum total of 126 passengers. There are 12 seats in first class, 36 more in premium economy and 78 economy class seats. This is one of 41 Boeing 737-700 airplanes currently in the main fleet with 20 used models set to join.

On August 7, 2008, this aircraft was flying from Santa Ana, California to Newark, New Jersey for Continental. Shortly after takeoff, smoke was detected by the crew. An emergency was declared and the Boeing 737 returned to Santa Ana for a safe landing. Although no trace of fire was found, an alternate B737 (N27734) was brought in to continue the flight.
