VT-JEQ is a Boeing 777-300ER belonging to Jet Airways out of India and is one of ten B77W aircraft in the fleet. Interestingly, the airplane started life with Jet Airways in 2008 as VT-JEJ before leaving the fleet then returning under its current registration. We photographed this airliner on March 25, 2018 while plane spotting at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

VT-JEQ
VT-JEQ took its maiden flight on January 21, 2008 and was first delivered to Jet Airways in India on February 1, 2008 as VT-JEJ. A little over two years later, on May 28, 2010, the Boeing 777-35RER was delivered to Thai Airways as HS-TKJ and named Dej Udom. On June 9, 2013, the aircraft was reacquired by Jet Airways, this time as VT-JEQ.
One of ten Boeing 777-300ER variants in the Jet Airways fleet, this is also the largest aircraft in the fleet. The B77W is configured for a maximum total of 346 passengers with eight seats in first class, 30 more seats in premium economy and 308 economy class seats.
On May 7, 2014, VT-JEQ was involved in an interesting situation at London Heathrow Airport. The Boeing 777-300ER was to fly from London, England to New Delhi, India. However, an airport cargo carrier burst into flames adjacent to the B77W resulting in a delay of more than an hour. There had been a rumour that one of the engines of the aircraft had caught fire but this was, of course, false. The flight was able to continue as planned with no damage done to the airliner.
Boeing 777-300ER
The first Boeing 777-300ER was delivered to Air France in 2004, nearly a decade after the original 777 variant made its debut with United Airlines in 1995. The B77W is 74 metres or 242 feet in length with a wingspan of 65 metres or 213 feet. At the tail, the aircraft stands 19 metres or 61 feet in height. The flight range is 13,650 kilometres.
Jet Airways
Jet Airways was founded on April 1, 1992 and commenced operations on May 5, 1993. The airline is headquartered in Mumbai, India and a member of the Etihad Partners Alliance. Jet Airways has a fleet of nearly 120 aircraft flying to 66 destinations. The largest in the fleet is the Boeing 777-300ER while the most numerous is the Boeing 737-800.
