C-GKVL

This Boeing 737-8FN performed its first flight on January 6, 2010 and was delivered to Travel Service out of the Czech Republic on January 25, 2010 as OK-TVL. Since, it has been seasonally leased to SpiceJet, Sunwing and SmartWings. Over the winter months of 2016-17 and 2017-18, the B738 was leased to Sunwing Airlines as C-GKVL.

Since May 23, 2018, the Boeing 737-800 has been back in Europe flying for SmartWings. The aircraft is configured for 189 passengers in a single class system. On the side, the airliner is painted with advertising for Paradisus by Melia.

On August 14, 2014, OK-TVL was flying for Travel Service from Tel Aviv, Israel to Prague, Czech Republic. While preparing for departure, a passenger reported smoke coming from her handbag. It seems her iPhone had started on fire. Passengers were deplaned and was loaded back again for the flight to continue with a one hour delay.
